After the placement test, you can consult with our student support team to review and adjust your enrolment if required.

Practice Tests

Every week you will complete one Practice Test which focuses on one of the macro skills (listening, reading, writing, and speaking). After the Practice Test, your teacher will provide feedback and give some exam tips on how to achieve better scores on your IELTS test.

Skills Tests

Every four weeks you must complete the Skills Test which focuses on all macro skills – listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Skills Tests provide excellent IELTS exam practice. The results are used to issue end-of-course certificates.

At the end of the course, students will receive a Certificate of Attainment or a Certificate of Participation depending on their attendance and academic progress.

To receive a Certificate of Attainment, the student needs to meet the following requirements:

  • Complete a minimum of 6 weeks of study at the current level.
  • Maintain an attendance rate of 80% or above.
  • Score 50% (IELTS Foundation) or 55% (IELTS Advanced) in the Skills Test conducted at the current level.

Minimum Attendance: Your attendance must not be below 80%.

Daily Attendance: Student visa holders must attend all scheduled classes (20 hours a week).

Academic Progress: To maintain satisfactory course progress, students must complete a Skills Test every 4 study weeks and achieve the required score in each macro skill (listening, reading, writing and speaking).

Seeking Support: If you are struggling to maintain satisfactory course progress, you need to contact Albright student support services for assistance.

Consequences of Non-Compliance: Failure to comply with the attendance requirements may result in the implementation of attendance intervention strategies and cancellation of your enrolment.
