This qualification reflects the role of community service workers involved in the delivery, management, and coordination of person-centered services to individuals, groups, and communities.

At this level, workers have specialised skills in community services and work autonomously within their scope of practice under broad directions from senior management.
Workers support people to make changes in their lives to improve personal and social well-being and may also have responsibility for the supervision of other workers and volunteers. They may also undertake case management and program coordination.

To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 200 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency.
The skills in this qualification must be applied following Commonwealth or State or Territory legislation, Australian standards, and industry codes of practice.

• Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age at the time of commencement;
• Have a valid Student visa status which allows them to study in Australia at Vocational levels.
• Must satisfy Albright Pre-training Review (PTR) Assessment.
• Have a valid IELTS score of 5.5 or PTE score of 42 or Cambridge English Test Result B2 or its equivalent (Completed a minimum 12-week General English Course of Upper-Intermediate Level)- Within the last 2 Calendar Years OR AQF Level 4 (Certificate 4) or Australian Senior Secondary Certificate of Education- Within the last 2 Calendar Years
• Successful completion of Australian Equivalent Year 12 qualification;
• Applicants must undertake the Albright LLN test;
• Applicants should have basic computer and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
